Westwind Honda: A fresh take on a historic local business
LETHBRIDGE, AB – Westwind Honda has a long and proud history in Alberta.
Formerly known as McFadden Honda, new owners have taken charge of the auto dealership and rebranded it as Westwind Honda. The transition and rebrand from new owners Greg Flom, Paul McDonald and Gord McDonald includes plans for a new, state-of-the-art facility in 2024 and a continued focus on delivering award-winning customer service for the people of Lethbridge.
Upon opening as McFadden Honda in 1974, the business became the first Honda dealership in Alberta. In 2015, Greg Flom joined the team as General Manager. Since his arrival, he’s helped lead McFadden Honda to winning Honda’s Award of Excellence the last four years in a row.
Earlier this year, Flom joined forces with the McDonald Auto Group to purchase McFadden Honda and rebrand it as Westwind Honda. Flom said, “this is a new future for the dealership, for the staff, and allows us to move forward with a new and exciting project for a state-of-the-art facility that allows us to better serve our customers.”
