Lethbridge man arrested after “Nazi” scratched onto 19 vehicles, including police cruiser

LETHBRIDGE, AB – Lethbridge Police Service (LPS) has apprehended a man in connection to a string of vandalism.

Between Wednesday, April 6, and Thursday, April 7, 2022, police received reports that 19 vehicles, including a marked police car, had the word “Nazi” scratched into the paintwork.

The incidents occurred on both days during the daytime. All of the vehicles were parked in various areas of the downtown core.

According to LPS, the man is shown causing the damage on video surveillance footage.

The suspect was arrested without incident on Thursday, but police believe there may be additional victims.

Christopher Michael Crow, 37, of Lethbridge, is charged with 19 counts of mischief under $5,000.

He was released from custody following a Judicial Interim Release hearing and is scheduled to appear in court on May 12, 2022.
