Piikani man pleads not guilty in connection to death of teenager

PIIKANI NATION, AB – A four-week trial has been set for a man accused in the death of a youth in Southern Alberta.
In Lethbridge Court of Queen’s Bench on Monday, April 11, 2022, Dustin Big Bull, 39, of Piikani Nation, entered pleas of not guilty to one count each of second-degree murder and causing an indignity to human remains.
Tregan Crow Eagle, 16, was found deceased on Monday, July 27, 2020, after leaving his residence in Brocket five days prior.
The death has been declared by RCMP as a homicide.
