Open house for Victoria Park Area Redevelopment Plan set for April 27

LETHBRIDGE, AB – Residents in Lethbridge are invited to an in-person open house for the Victoria Park Area Redevelopment Plan this week.

The open house is scheduled for Wednesday, April 27 in the Community Room at CASA (230 – 8 Street S.) between 11 a.m. and 8 p.m.

The City of Lethbridge is encouraging attendees to register beforehand as a COVID-19 public health measure. Drop-in time slots are also available.

The purpose of the Victoria Park Area Redevelopment Plan is to provide a future vision for the site and guidance on where growth and change make sense and how it can most appropriate be integrated.

The open house is an opportunity for people to share their thoughts about an area in which they live and work in, and visit. The feedback gathered during Wednesday’s open house will be used to inform the Victoria Park Area Redevelopment Plan vision.

Additionally, children and youth are encouraged to attend and provide their feedback. Information on the project is available through the City of Lethbridge and registration can be done online.

For those unable to attend this open house, there will be an opportunity to provide feedback online starting April 27 through the project website.
