Police received a report that a man was robbed while walking near 23 Street and 6 A Avenue North on March 27, 2022. Police say the man was allegedly assaulted by two unknown men who stole his wallet.

One of the stolen bank cards was subsequently used by a female suspect at two nearby businesses.

The LPS released a security camera image of the suspect, which was posted on Lethbridge News Now.

Police say information provided by the public helped them make an arrest on April 24, 2022.

Dawn Ila Hart, 43, of Lethbridge is charged with possession of a stolen credit card and use of a stolen credit card.

Hart was released from custody following a Judicial Interim Release hearing. She is scheduled to appear back in court May 2, 2022.

Police say the investigation into the initial robbery continues, and the LPS would like to thank the public and media for their assistance in the matter.
