Upon launch, the vehicles were only available in South and West Lethbridge. Due to positive feedback and program uptake, Neuron Mobility has added 100 e-scooters in North Lethbridge. The expanded riding area will provide access as far north as the Legacy Ridge, Hardieville and Uplands neighborhoods, as well as parts of the Anderson and Churchill Industrial parks.

Neuron Mobility will monitor uptake in the expanded riding zone and add more vehicles to the fleet as needed in the coming weeks, in collaboration with the City of Lethbridge.

Daniel Rodrigo, the Alberta Regional Manager for Neuron said, “we have been extremely pleased with the enthusiasm and program uptake from Lethbridge riders and are delighted to be extending the existing riding area less than a month into the program.”

“E-scooters and e-bikes are a fantastic way to travel around the city and the new zone will further extend people’s range, allowing them to see more, do more and get to where they need to be in an environmentally friendly way. We thank the City of Lethbridge for its continued support.”

Since the program launched, thousands of citizens have taken a ride and travelled over 40,000 kilometres in the city, with an average rider journey of 2.6 kilometres.
