Lethbridge man suffers serious injuries in west side collision

LETHBRIDGE, AB – Police are investigating a two-vehicle collision in west Lethbridge.

The Lethbridge Police Traffic Response Unit was called to the intersection of University Drive and Garry Drive West at approximately 5:30 pm on Wednesday, May 4, 2022.

Investigators say a motorcycle was travelling eastbound on Garry Drive West when it hit the southwest median and proceeded into the intersection, where it was struck by a southbound pickup truck on University Drive West.

The driver of the motorcycle, a 32-year-old Lethbridge man, was taken to hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
