Trial dates set in six-figure Taber fraud case

TABER, AB – Approximately one year from now, a Lethbridge man will face a trial in connection to allegations of fraud.
In Lethbridge Court of Queen’s Bench on Monday, May 9, 2022, trial dates of May 1-5, 2023 were set for Scott James Piggott, 40, of Lethbridge.
He faces one count each of fraud over $5,000, theft over $5,000, and false pretenses over $5,000.
Piggott was arrested by the Taber Police Service (TPS) on May 21, 2015.
