Coaldale ambulatory clinic to reopen in June

May 20, 2022 | 5:33 PM

COALDALE, AB — The ambulatory clinic at the Coaldale Health Centre is set to reopen next month. The clinic was closed in March of 2020, as part of Alberta Health Services’ COVID-19 response.

As of June 20, 2022 the clinic will be accepting patients during the week from 5:30 p.m. until 10:30 p.m., and from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. on weekends.

The clinic was originally closed by AHS in order to protect the 45 residents living in the long-term-care facility who had increased risk for severe outcomes should they be exposed to COVID-19.

AHS says individuals in the community who require emergency medical care should call 911, and those requiring non-emergency care are asked to please call their family physician.
