LETHBRIDGE, AB – There are a lot of things to do around Lethbridge this week, whether you feel like being creative, showing off your trivia skills, or enjoying a lunch with others in the community.

The group ‘Ready to Hunt’ will be hosting a Hunting Draws Workshop for anyone new to hunting and hunting draws starting at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, June 13, 2022. At the Lethbridge Fish and Game Association Hut, curious individuals can get help with how to navigate the draw system, applications, and long-term draw strategies. Those who are interested will need to register with Ready to Hunt.

Lethbridge Mobile Food Support (LMFS) will be at the University Drive Alliance Church from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 14 handing out food for those in the community who need a little extra support. The LMFS is provided by the Lethbridge Food Bank as a way to help anyone who needs food assistance. The LMFS only requires your name and postal code.

Flex your creative muscles at Pure Casino Lethbridge on June 14, for Cutie Pie Cacti, a paint and sip event hosted by Smudge Art Studio. Starting at 7:00 p.m. Smudge will provide you with art supplies, a 16×20 inch canvas and the knowledge to create your own cute cacti creation. Tickets for the event cost $42.00 per person and can be purchased on Smudge Art Studio’s website.

Continue to celebrate Pride month at Pride Picnic in the Gardens, happening from 7:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at the Nikka Yuko Japanese Gardens on Wednesday, June 15. Attendees can take in the beautiful atmosphere and enjoy an evening with friends and family or take the opportunity to meet new people. Admission to the event is just $5.00, and tickets for the Pride Picnic in the Garden event can be bought online.

For all the trivia lovers out there, head down to the Owl Acoustic Lounge on Thursday, June 16, for the Wise Owls Pub Quiz. Starting at 8:00 p.m. teams of up to six players can participate every third Thursday of the month in order to show what they know, and play for monthly prizes and seasonal trophies.
