Head-on collision causes detour on Highway 5 south of Lethbridge

UPDATE: Highway 5 has been reopened in both directions.
RAYMOND, AB – Raymond RCMP officials say a pick-up truck collided head-on with a larger truck on Highway 5 south of Lethbridge, approximately five kilometres north of Welling at around 11:33 a.m. Wednesday, June 15, 2022.
Highway 5 was closed for several hours and traffic was diverted through Raymond.
The RCMP says the pick-up truck driver was transported to hospital with undetermined injuries, and the other driver was reportedly not injured in the crash.
