Fire Ban lifted for Lethbridge’s River Valley

LETHBRIDGE, AB – The Fire Ban that was in place for the River Valley area in Lethbridge has been lifted.

The rescinding of the ban came into effect as of Wednesday, June 15, 2022. However, the City of Lethbridge said precautions should still be taken when having fires. Residents are reminded to use clean and dry wood for burning and make sure that fires are completely extinguished before leaving the area.

Those having a fire are also asked to properly dispose of any smoking materials.
