Police seeking suspect in south Lethbridge assault

LETHBRIDGE, AB – The Lethbridge Police Service (LPS) is seeking the public’s assistance in locating a suspect who is wanted in relation to an assault that occurred on Thursday, July 7, 2022.

The LPS says two males who know each other were involved in a dispute at a residence along the 1700 block of 10 A Avenue South. The suspect allegedly tasered, and then shot the victim multiple times with a BB gun.

The victim managed to leave the residence and make their way to hospital, where they were treated for their injuries. The suspect fled the scene before police arrived.

A warrant has been issued for Clayton Wayne Jordan, 39, of Lethbridge, on two counts of assault with a weapon, use of an imitation firearm, discharge air pistol, possession of a prohibited weapon, and failure to comply with a release order.
