LETHBRIDGE, AB – The Lethbridge Police Service (LPS) is asking for the public’s help in identifying a suspicious person.

At 5:45 pm on Saturday, July 16, 2022, officers responded to a report that a vehicle pulled up beside three children in an alley on the 1100 block of Henderson Lake Boulevard South.

Police were informed that a male driver told them he had lost his cat and wanted to show the children a photo of it. Instead, he allegedly showed a 12-year-old girl a sexually-explicit image before driving away.

LPS searched the area but were unable to locate the vehicle.

The vehicle is described as a four-door silver car, possibly a 2000s model Pontiac Grand Prix or Grand Am.

The suspect is described as being a man in his 30s with short brown hair, brown eyes, tanned skin, and stubble on his face. He was seen wearing a neon green tank top.

Anyone who was in the area or has seen the suspect is asked to phone Lethbridge Police at 403-328-4444 or Crime Stoppers anonymously at 1-800-222-8477 and reference file #22015288.
