Parks & Playground Passport returns in Lethbridge after two-year hiatus

LETHBRIDGE, AB – A popular and adventuristic program from the City of Lethbridge is back following a two-year hiatus due to COVID-19.

The Parks & Cemeteries team has reignited the Parks & Playground Passport for 2022. The scavenger hunt style activity sheet entices families to check out different parks and playgrounds in Lethbridge.

The reintroduction of the program after a two-year pause includes a rebrand, which encourages visiting not only playgrounds, but park spaces as well.

The Parks & Playground Passport is available from the City of Lethbridge website. It can also be accessed by downloading the Lethbridge Parks App.

Once a user has visited all eight parks, they can submit their passport by emailing parksvolunteer@lethbridge.ca or by dropping it off with the cashiers on the first floor or in the drop box out front of Lethbridge City Hall.

Submission of the passport enters the user into a draw to win a family skate pass, Helen Schuler Nature Centre t-shirt, Fort Whoop-Up family pass or a Galt Museum family pass.

Individuals have until September 30, 2022 to complete and submit the passport. More information is available at the City of Lethbridge website.
