Lethbridge International Airshow ‘soars’ over expectations
LETHBRIDGE, AB – The Lethbridge International Airshow soared to new heights over the weekend as the event made its first appearance since 2017. Traffic was backed up from the Lethbridge Airport to Scenic Drive South, as eager attendees made their way to the north side of the airport to see the show.
Dallas Harty is the President of the Lethbridge International Airshow, and he says getting to the airshow should be easier on Sunday.
“We’re going to make an effort to do a better job of getting people in tomorrow,” Harty said. “The biggest problem is the there’s only a certain amount of entrances into the airport, and especially into the north end where all the general admission parking is, but we’re going to have a little debrief tonight and see if we can come up with a better way to get people in off the highway.”
