Banff man charged with second-degree murder

BANFF, AB – RCMP has charged a man from Banff in connection to the death of another local man.

Officers were called to a bar on Banff Avenue at approximately 2:30 am on Friday, August 5, 2022.

A 26-year-old man was found injured and was taken to hospital, where he was later pronounced deceased.

The victim has now been identified as Ethan Enns-Goneau, of Banff.

RCMP has charged John-Christopher Arrizza, 22, of Banff, with second-degree murder.

Arrizza had been remanded into custody and is scheduled to appear in Canmore court on August 10, 2022.
