LETHBRIDGE, AB – Changes are coming to the parking operations at the City of Lethbridge.

Starting September 1, 2022, the City of Lethbridge’s Parking Operations and Parking Enforcement will be amalgamating and moving the collective services to the downtown Park ‘n’ Ride Transit Terminal.

The terminal is located at 705 5 Avenue South.

Officials stated that the changes are happening to offer all parking services at one location “and to provide a better level of customer service.”

Services that were traditionally done at City Hall, like parking appeals, will now take place at the Park ‘n’ Ride facility. Additionally, the City of Lethbridge said Parking Operations will start accepting debit and credit payments for parking violations. Cash payments will not be accepted at the Park ‘n’ Ride but can still be made at Lethbridge City Hall.

Staff members have posted information signs at the Park ‘n’ Ride facility and at City Hall. Information handouts will start circulating with parking tickets beginning September 1, 2022.

More details on parking is available at the City of Lethbridge website.
