Unauthorized health products seized from Lethbridge business

LETHBRIDGE, AB – Health Canada has seized a series of products from a local company that are not authorized for sale.

The agency says the following products were seized from the warehouse location of Jedpar Health and Beauty on August 31, 2022, and removed from online sale:

  • Detoxi Slim
    • Product tested by Health Canada and found to contain sibutramine
  • Idol Slim Coffee
    • Product tested by Health Canada and found to contain lorcaserin
  • Lida Shake
    • Product tested by Health Canada and found to contain lorcaserin
  • Max Slim
    • Product tested by Health Canada and found to contain sibutramine

Health Canada says the seized products may pose serious health risks.

The agency advises Canadians to consult a health care professional if they have used any of these unauthorized products.

Unauthorized health products were also seized from Jedpar Health and Beauty during a June 16, 2022, search by Health Canada.
