Claresholm man charged in connection to stolen property

CLARESHOLM, AB – RCMP has apprehended a man who allegedly stole items from numerous properties.

On Wednesday, August 31, 2022, Claresholm RCMP conducted a search warrant at a home in the southeast area of the town.

Officers confiscated a variety of items that had been reported stolen, including a dirt bike, an industrial-sized weed whacker, and a rifle.

RCMP also seized several prohibited weapons and suspected fentanyl.

Jaden Ross Vincent, 26, of Claresholm, is charged with four counts of possession of stolen property under $5,000 and one count each of possession of a prohibited weapon, unauthorized possession of a firearm, and trafficking of a controlled substance.

He was released from custody following a bail hearing and is scheduled to appear in Fort Macleod Provincial Court on September 21, 2022.
