LETHBRIDGE, AB – An emergency alert has been issued for Alberta and Manitoba following numerous violent incidents in Saskatchewan.

RCMP in Melfort, Saskatchewan first issued the dangerous person alert after receiving several calls about stabbings in the James Smith Cree Nation at 7:14 a.m. on Sunday, September 4, 2022.

RCMP says there are multiple victims in the James Smith Cree Nation and Weldon, Saskatchewan.

“Early indications may be that victims are attacked randomly,” reads a portion of the dangerous person alert.

The suspects have been identified as:

    • 155 lbs
    • Black hair, brown eyes

    • 240 lbs

The suspects may be in a black Nissan Rogue with the Saskatchewan license plate number 119 MPI.
