What’s happening in Lethbridge this week: September 12, 2022
LETHBRIDGE, AB – Looking for a laugh, something to eat or drink, or something that will make you think? Well you’re in luck, as there are plenty of events happening around Lethbridge this week.
Children in grades one through six who like to build and create are invited to the Coaldale Library for Lego Club. This free event takes place every Tuesday from 3:30 p.m. until 4:30 p.m. and allows kids to explore the field of engineering. Once the building is through, kids can cap off the afternoon with a tasty snack provided by the library.
Now that Fall is just around the corner, the Southern Alberta Women in Business (SAWIB) is hosting Sip Summer Away at Steel and Vines in Lethbridge from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 15, 2022. SAWIB invites female entrepreneurs and women in business to an evening of connection, mentorship, and of course a good time. Appetizers and wine tastings will be provided by Steel and Vines, and anyone interested in attending can RSVP on the SAWIB website.
For all the art lovers out there, the University of Lethbridge Art Gallery is hosting After Hours: Indigenous Artists on Thursday, September 15. The event takes place at the Hess Gallery from 7:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and will allow attendees to experience a special behind-the-scenes night to view famous artworks in the University’s collection. If the works of art aren’t enough, there will be free refreshments, board games, drawing supplies and even door prizes.
