Lethbridge Police investigating altercation involving gunshot

LETHBRIDGE, AB – The Lethbridge Police Service (LPS) is asking for the public’s help in determining the suspects involved in an altercation on the west side.

Officers were called to a home on the 200 block of Mt. Crandell Crescent at approximately 8:39 p.m. on Monday, September 26, 2022.

LPS was informed of gunshots being heard in the area.

When officers arrived on scene, LPS says there were numerous people and a commotion outside as individuals fled the area.

Multiple occupants of the home willingly left. Police were unable to find any weapons in the home.

“[The] investigation has determined that an altercation occurred between people at the residence and others who had attended the home. Evidence indicates at least one shot was fired into the air and a shot gun casing was seized from the front yard,” reads a media release from LPS.

No one was injured.
