RCMP investigating fatal collision near Brooks

BROOKS, AB – A head-on collision reportedly lead to the death of a man in Southern Alberta.

Brooks RCMP was called to the area of Highways 36 and 873 south of the community at approximately 6:30 p.m. on Monday, September 26, 2022.

Their initial investigation determined that a head-on collision occurred between a semi-truck and a car.

The 46-year-old man driving the car, a resident of Brooks, was pronounced deceased on scene.
