Taber Police Service asking for information on serious collision

TABER, AB – The Taber Police Service is asking for information or dashcam video footage of a crash that took place in Taber on Wednesday, September 28, 2022.

Taber Police responded to a collision at the intersection of Highway 3 and Highway 36 North at approximately 3:35 p.m. on Wednesday.

Police say an eastbound tractor-trailer unit entered the intersection and struck a northbound pickup truck.

The force of the crash caused the pickup truck to hit the median and roll over. The driver of the pickup was thrown from the vehicle and was taken to Chinook Regional Hospital in Lethbridge with undetermined injuries.

Officers are asking anyone who may have witnessed the crash or who might have dashcam video footage of the incident to contact the Taber Police Service at 403-223-8991.

Police say charges are pending and the investigation is ongoing.
