Lethbridge radio station ‘Today’s Country 95.5’ rebrands to ‘WILD 95-5’

LETHBRIDGE, AB – As of 8:00 a.m. on Friday, October 7, 2022, “Today’s Country 95.5” has undergone a transformation and has emerged as “WILD 95-5, Lethbridge’s New Country”.

Country 95.5 has been on the Lethbridge airwaves since the spring of 1997, playing your favourite new, and classic country hits. Under the name, “WILD 95-5”, the station plans to bring a new energy to the Lethbridge airwaves while still featuring the same familiar voices on the air.

General manager Gary Dorosz says a rebranding like this is a chance to keep things fresh, and keep listeners engaged.

“It’s a fresh, updated modern take, playing today’s country music along with the classic hits we all know and love. This is a change designed to engage and re-energize our audience, attract new listeners and ultimately grow our market share,” explained Dorosz.

He added, “Country music has changed and evolved, so we felt that it was time for us to do the same. It’s the same great station, same great country music, same great entertaining hosts and above all, the news and information you want and need on a daily basis.”

In a release, the company says it’s not only wild about country music, but they’re also wild about its listeners, and Lethbridge.
