LETHBRIDGE, AB – A program between the City of Lethbridge and Recreation Excellence is making a return this year after a pause caused by the pandemic.

Halloween coupon books are available for purchase.

The City of Lethbridge says they “offer a healthy alternative to handing out candy” on Halloween. The books are $5.00 and contain 10 passes, including five swimming passes and five skating passes to any Recreation Excellence-operated City of Lethbridge pool or arena.

In a release, the City of Lethbridge said, “Receiving a coupon is a fun alternative for trick-or-treaters that offers kids an opportunity to enjoy a healthy activity.”

Pools included in the program are Nicholas Sheran, Stan Siwik, and Fritz Sick.

The arenas include the ATB Centre, Nicholas Sheran, the Civic Ice Centre, Henderson, Logan Boulet Arena and the Lethbridge Labor Club Ice Centre.

The passes can be used between November 1, 2022 and January 5, 2023 for admission into public programming. The coupon books can only be purchased at Nicholas Sheran, Stan Siwik, and Fritz Sick pools during regular business hours.
