No injuries reported in south Lethbridge structure fire

LETHBRIDGE, AB – Fire crews in Lethbridge responded to a structure fire early Wednesday, October 12, 2022.
At around 5:50 a.m., responders tended to a structure fire behind a home in the 300 block of 11 Street South.
A Lethbridge Police Service officer on patrol saw smoke in the area and reported it to the Public Safety Communications Centre. The officer then immediately led the evacuation of three structures in close proximity to the fire.
Fire crews from three stations arrived on scene to find a carport, two vehicles and a neighbouring garage on fire. They were able to quickly bring the blaze under control.
