Local skaters make NHL Central Scouting players to watch list

LETHBRIDGE, AB – The National Hockey League (NHL) has its eyes on a few players who are from Southern Alberta or who play on local Western Hockey League (WHL) teams.

NHL Central Scouting has released its Preliminary Players to Watch List ahead of the 2023 NHL Draft. 43 WHL players made the cut.

Locals who are on the Preliminary Players to Watch List include:

• Rylen Roersma
  • From Lethbridge
  • Centre for the Brandon Wheat Kings
• Noah Chadwick
  • From Saskatoon
  • Defenseman for Lethbridge Hurricanes
• Logan Wormald
  • From Langley
  • Left Wing for Lethbridge Hurricanes
• Dawson Seitz
  • From Medicine Hat
  • Centre for Edmonton Oil Kings
