Two charged in connection to theft from Milk River home

MILK RIVER, AB – RCMP has apprehended two people in connection to a residential robbery.

On Thursday, October 6, 2022, Milk River RCMP was called to a home in the community.

The home owner advised the attending officers that they were having plumbing issues and called a local business for assistance.

Two people came to the home to address the plumbing issue, but according to RCMP, surveillance showed that the suspects stole “many items” from the residence.

Glenn Terry Thiessen, 61, and Martin Norman Kalua, 51, both of Coutts, have been charged with theft under $5,000.

Both suspects are scheduled to appear in Lethbridge Provincial Court on January 13, 2022.
