Cranbrook RCMP issues warning after blade found in box of Halloween chocolate

CRANBROOK, B.C. – An RCMP detachment is southeastern B.C. is warning parents and trick-or-treaters to be careful with their Halloween candy.

Cranbrook RCMP says an area resident discovered a blade loose in a box of Halloween chocolate.

The blade was loose amongst the individual bars and appears to have been inserted into the box.

RCMP is urging everyone to carefully check their boxes and bags of store bought candy and chocolate after the discovery.
