Lethbridge Police seek help identifying person connected with robbery investigation

LETHBRIDGE, AB – The Lethbridge Police Service (LPS) is seeking assistance in finding and identifying a man who allegedly assaulted, and stole from a 17-year-old male on September 25, 2022.

The LPS said the incident took place some time between around 11:00 p.m. on September 25, 2022 and 1:00 a.m. on September 26, 2022. A 17-year-old male was walking in the area of 13 Street and 3 Avenue South in Lethbridge “with another male and female”.

A statement from police noted that, “The youth followed the unknown male and female into an alley where the male proceeded to assault the youth and steal various items from him. The male and female subsequently left the area on foot.”

The LPS said that the 17-year-old returned home and was later taken to hospital, where he was treated for non life-threatening injuries. Police have since released a composite sketch of the suspect male.
