LETHBRIDGE, AB – After a two-year hiatus due to the COVID-19 pandemic, officials with the Chinook Regional Hospital Foundation (CRHF) say they were elated to bring back an annual holiday tradition to the ENMAX Centre.

From November 20-23, 2022, the 28th Christmas Tree Festival lit up the venue all in the name of raising money for the foundation.

After an evening of auctioning off trees, wreaths and other items, they raised over $170,000.

All the funds will stay directly in Lethbridge and will help to make an impact on health care within the community.

“Thank you, Southern Alberta,” said Allan Bartolcic, Executive Director at the CRHF in a release.

“Incredible community support once again; the monies raised at this event will assist the Foundation in providing financial support in purchasing vital equipment and items not covered by government funding as well as funding major projects.”

It’s estimated that over 4,000 people attended this year’s four-day event.
