LETHBRIDGE, AB – It’s the weekend, and these are just a handful of things happening around town that you just don’t want to miss.

Lethbridge Fashion Weekend (LFW) – November 25

Lethbridge Fashion Weekend is back with another show as it hosts the autumn/winter runway at the Galt Museum on November 25, 2022. A number of local designers and talents will be taking the stage this Friday to showcase the latest trends and styles for the upcoming season. Tickets for the show are available in person at Classique Dancewear.

Good Times Comedy Club presents: Ed Hill – November 25 and 26

Good Time Comedy Club is set to serve some laughs this Friday and Saturday. The Lethbridge comedy club is bringing in Vancouver comedian Ed Hill to wow patrons as he brings his tour to Southern Alberta. People can still purchase tickets to the November 25 and 26 shows online.

Castle Mountain sneak peek weekend – November 26 and 27

This Saturday and Sunday, Castle Mountain will be opening its doors for a special preview of the 2022-2023 season. The mountain anticipates all trails within the Huckleberry Chair zone and the Green Chair zone to be open. Most trails will be groomed and ready to go, and cat skiing will be open and available for back-country touring. The T-Bar will also be open from November 25-27. After this weekend, Castle will be closed until they officially open for the season on December 2.

Holiday Artisan and Gift Expo – November 26 and 27

Domesticated Divas is hosting a free holiday market this weekend at the Just Furniture For Less building off Mayor Magrath Drive. The holiday event will run on Saturday and Sunday from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. each day. Browse multiple vendors and booths this weekend and support local businesses.

2nd Annual Mistletoe Market – November 26

Looking for that perfect gift for that special someone? Check out the 2nd Annual Mistletoe Market at the Rocky Mountain Turf Club. The event will be bringing in over 60 vendors, which means another stop to add to the list when searching for holiday purchases. Mistletoe Market will run from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 26. Admission is $2 and goes towards purchasing gifts for the Angel Tree campaign. The first 20 people to arrive will also get a chance to snatch a free swag bag.

Extra Toppings Drag Show at the Slice – November 26

Cabaret Calgary will be making the trek to Lethbridge this weekend to perform at The Slice Bar and Grill. The drag show will be welcoming performers like Francheska Dynamites, Visa D’Klein, Smokey Waters, Angelina Starchild and Karla Marx. The show starts at 8:30 p.m. with tickets available at the door starting at 7:00 p.m. on November 26.

World Cup Watch Party – November 27

Canada is playing in the FIFA World Cup this weekend, and you can catch all the action live. The soccer games are scheduled for November 27 and December 1, and downtown Lethbridge is putting on a special event to cheer on the Canadian players. The second matchup, Canada vs. Croatia, starts at 9:00 a.m. on Sunday. People are encouraged to bring blankets and snacks while they cheer on the home country. People are reminded to dress appropriately as the event is taking place outdoors.

Mayor’s Community Hockey Challenge – November 27

The Mayor’s Community Hockey Challenge is back and will take place on Sunday, November 27, 2022 at 4:00 p.m. at the ATB Centre. This year, the goal is to raise $5,000 through food donations and monetary contributions. Those wanting to attend are encouraged to bring donations of non-perishable food items or cash donations.
