25th Annual Royal Gala Live and Silent Auction – November 29

This Tuesday, November 29, the 25th annual Royal Gala kicks off in the Grand Ballroom at the Lethbridge Lodge. The fundraiser aims to support the YWCA Harbour House, a 24-bed emergency shelter in Lethbridge. Over the past 24 years, the event has raised over $1,000,000 towards helping programs at the YWCA. Tickets for this gala and silent auction are still available online.

Winter Light Festival Opening Night – November 30

The Winter Light Festival is back for another year at the Nikka Yuko Japanese Garden. From November 30, 2022, to February 26, 2023, guests can wander through dazzling light and ice sculpture displays while learning about Japanese culture and traditions. Tickets are available Thursday through Sunday, with additional passes available for special events like the Kamakura [Igloo] Dome Experience or the Basha Nori Thursday [Horse & Wagon Rides]. Good Times Comedy Club presents Ladies’ Night – December 1

Get the gal pals together for a night of laughs at Good Times Comedy Club. On December 1, Emily Seymour and Mollie Risa will be taking the stage to co-headline Ladies’ Night, with Megan Windle hosting the event. There are set to be door prizes and drink specials for this adult-only show from 7:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Tickets are still available online.

Terri Clark: It’s Christmas Cheers tour – December 1

Alberta’s Terri Clark will be bringing her Christmas Cheers tour to Lethbridge this week. The three-time JUNO award winner released her first-ever Christmas album back in 2020. On December 1, Clark will be taking the stage at the ENMAX Centre at 7:30 p.m., tickets are still available online.

World Cup Watch Party – December 1

Canada is playing in the FIFA World Cup this week, and you can catch all the action live. The final soccer game for the team in the tournament is scheduled for Thursday, December 1. Downtown Lethbridge is putting on a special event to cheer on the Canadian players. The third match-up, Canada vs. Morocco, starts at 8:00 a.m. on Thursday. People are encouraged to bring blankets and snacks while they cheer on the home country. People are reminded to dress appropriately as the event is taking place outdoors.

Biloxi Parish, Waterfront and Gutter King – December 2

A few Lethbridge bands are set to rock out at The Slice this Friday. Biloxi Parish, Gutter King and Waterfront will be bringing in their electric, alt-rock tunes that are sure to make patrons get out of their seats and get wild. Doors open at 8:00 p.m. and the bands get underway at 9:00 p.m. Tickets are available online or at the door on December 2.
