LETHBRIDGE, AB – Watch out Southern Alberta, there’s another jam-packed week of events coming your way.

Lethbridge Hurricanes – December 6 and 9, 2022

The Lethbridge Hurricanes are back in town this week, playing against two separate Albertan teams. On Tuesday, December 6, the Hurricanes face off against the Swift Current Broncos at 7:00 p.m. at the ENMAX Centre. On Friday at 7:00 p.m., Lethbridge will play the Medicine Hat Tigers. Tickets can be purchased online at the ENMAX Centre website or at the door.

Harry Potter Trivia Night at the Canadian Brewhouse – December 6

Harry Potter fans, get ready to enter the Wizarding World for one night only. Tremendous Trivia Night Productions has partnered with the Canadian Brewhouse to put on Harry Potter Trivia Night. Enjoy themed food and drink, mini-games, and many questions relating to the films. Tons of prizes are up for grabs and patrons are encouraged to dress as their favourite characters as part of a costume contest. Tables for this event are still available online.

Good Times Comedy Club Presents: Pro-Amateur Night – December 8

Lethbridge’s comedy club will be offering up its stage for open mic night this week. Good Times Comedy Club will be hosting Pro-Amateur night on Thursday, with professionals taking the stage to test out fresh material and new comics trying their hand at standup comedy. Tickets are available at the door and online at Good Times Comedy Club.

Lethbridge Handmade Market – December 10

This weekend, Lethbridge & District Exhibition welcomes over 120 artisans for its annual ‘Holi-Yay’ market. For one day only, take in all the holiday festivities and support local, as this one-stop shop is sure to have something for everyone on your Christmas list. The event runs from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, with admission tickets sold at the door.

Christmas at the Fort – December 10 and 11

Fort Whoop-Up is bringing back its annual holiday tradition this winter for two weekends only. Take in the history of the Fort while enjoying horse-drawn carriage rides, crafts, warm treats and Napi’s Santa Show, a Blackfoot song, dance and storytelling performance. Tickets for this all-ages event can be purchased online at the Fort Whoop-Up website.

Winter Light Festival at Nikka Yuko Japanese Garden – Multiple dates in December

From now until February 26, 2023, guests can wander through light and ice sculpture displays while learning about Japanese culture and traditions. Tickets are available Thursday through Sunday, with additional passes available for the Kamakura [Igloo] Dome Experience or the Basha Nori [Horse and Wagon Rides].
