Two charged in connection to break and enter in Fort Macleod

FORT MACLEOD, AB – RCMP is continuing to investigate after firearms were allegedly stolen from a business in Fort Macleod.

On September 27, 2022, officers received a report of a break and enter at Alberta Hardware.

According to the RCMP investigation, suspects broke into the store and stole multiple firearms.

On December 7, 2022, the RCMP Southern Alberta Crime Reduction Unit executed search warrants at homes in Stirling and Lethbridge, thanks to the assistance of multiple law enforcement agencies.

Justin Barlow, 34, of Stirling, and Gillian Macleod, 36, of Lethbridge, are charged.

Barlow remains in custody while Macleod has been released. Both are scheduled to appear in court next month.
