City of Lethbridge to host ‘Community Conversation’ at ENMAX Centre January 18

LETHBRIDGE, AB – The City of Lethbridge is opening the doors for a community conversation.

Residents are invited to stop by the ENMAX Centre from 3 to 7 p.m. on Wednesday, January 18, 2023.

Over 25 City of Lethbridge programs and services will be on display to give citizens a taste of what staff is working on. Highlighted projects will include the upcoming curbside organics program, and changes to snow and ice control.

Attendees to the event, dubbed ‘Community Conversation’ can also share their feedback on future City of Lethbridge planning through interactive activities and surveys.

During the event, free public skating will be offered and equipment from the public operations teams will be on display. There will also be prize draws for residents who attend the event.

The City of Lethbridge stated that, “Community Conversations are a way to bring together City projects requiring community engagement in one convenient location, making it easier for residents to participate.”

Officials continued, “Public participation helps build a strong and connected community, informs City Council decision making and helps improve the city we all call home.

The January 18 event is free to attend.
