Lethbridge County looking for feedback on proposed playground in Shaughnessy

SHAUGHNESSY, AB – The Shaughnessy community playground is set to get an upgrade in 2023.

Lethbridge County has released sketches for a proposed playground that includes four slides, climbing equipment and various jungle gym structures.

Before beginning the project, the County is looking to gather feedback from the public on the new playground idea.

Those who live in the community can provide their suggestions, comments and reaction to the proposed playground equipment on an online form.

Feedback on the project can be submitted on the Lethbridge County website until January 22, 2023.

These playground upgrades are a part of the Countys 2023 Capital Budget and also include improvements to fencing and surfacing of the court for skating, pickleball and basketball.
