Crews respond to fire at commercial processing plant in Lethbridge

LETHBRIDGE, AB – Firefighters attended an incident at a commercial processing plant over the weekend.
At around 9:25 p.m. on Saturday, January 14, 2023, five stations responded to the 2200 block of 31 Street North in Lethbridge.
Upon arrival, firefighters found that staff had exited the building and reported that the fire inside had been extinguished by the sprinkler system and staff members.
Two crews stayed on scene to help with smoke evacuation and to shut down the sprinkler system.
