Standoff man charged with drug trafficking offences

STANDOFF, AB – The Blood Tribe Police Service (BTPS) has apprehended a man accused of drug trafficking.

On Monday, January 16, 2023, officers investigated a complaint of a suspicious person in Standoff.

BTPS arrested one man who police say was in possession of five grams of suspected fentanyl, prohibited weapons, and a replica firearm.

Tyrik Mark Good Rider, 23, of Standoff, is charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking fentanyl, possession of a prohibited weapon, and carrying a concealed weapon.

Good Rider was released from custody on a promise to appear in Cardston Provincial Court in February.
