Lethbridge County opens applications for dust control program
LETHBRIDGE COUNTY, AB – Applications are now open for dust control in Lethbridge County.
Landowners and businesses can apply to have dust control done on County-maintained roads that are adjacent to their property.
The dust suppression program is a 50-50 cost-sharing initiative between the applicant and Lethbridge County. The 2023 rate for applicants is $6.00 per lineal metre for under 200 metres and $12.00 for each additional metre. A minimum of 100 metres is required for each applicant. Product will only be applied in 50 metre increments.
Residents wanting to find out if routes adjacent to their property are eligible for dust control can visit the Lethbridge County website. Application forms are available online and must be submitted to the Lethbridge County office at 905 4 Avenue South in Lethbridge, with full payment.
