Crafted Corn: sweet support for the community

Jan 28, 2023 | 10:32 AM

LETHBRIDGE, AB – When you ask the people at Crafted Corn why it is important to support the community, their answer is simply “because we live here.”

Socially and economically, Crafted Corn does as much as they can to help the community become a better place.

Crafted Corn tries to buy as much as they can locally, even if that means paying a little more money or spending a little more time to deliver delicious popcorn. Their sugar and corn syrup is sourced through a locally-owned store, and the vanilla that they use in their product is supplied from a local company that brings it in straight from Mexico.

Their manufacturing facility is located in a fairly transient part of town, and Crafted Corn has handed out bottles of water and hand-warmers during different parts of the year. Joel Cote, owner of Crafted Corn said, “I’ve met some pretty cool people who are always super appreciative to receive anything.”

The community is also appreciative of everything that Crafted Corn does to help ‘Amplify’ Lethbridge. Enjoy handmade caramel popcorn from a small local business that is mighty and strong thanks to the support that it gets from other community-minded people. Thank you for all that you do, Crafted Corn!

Pattison Media is proud to support the local community with the ‘Amplify Southern Alberta’ promotion, featuring local businesses, individuals and groups that make a difference in our community.
