University of Lethbridge Dhillon School of Business accreditation extended
LETHBRIDGE. AB – The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business International (AACSB) is extending its accreditation to the Dhillon School of Business for an additional five-year term.
The business school at the University of Lethbridge was initially accredited in 2018. It’s among only six per cent of business schools accredited worldwide. The dean of the Dhillon School of Business, Kerry Godfrey, says the school is committed to keeping its quality standards high and making constant improvements “The school remains steadfast in its dedication to program quality and continuous improvements.
Since being accredited, the Dhillon School of Business is moving ahead with certain initiatives. These include development of new programming like the Health Services Management graduate certificate and master’s program. It will include multiple new courses in the fields of finance and innovation and entrepreneurship. Dhillon became the first business school in Canada to include an Indigenous knowledge requirement for all business students.
Godfrey says the school is looking to make an impact in the community over the five-year term with more community-based learning projects.
