Lethbridge College hosts Winter Open House February 11, 2023

LETHBRIDGE, AB – Lethbridge College will host its Winter Open House this weekend.

Prospective students can learn all about programs at the post-secondary on Saturday, February 11, 2023. Instructors and current students will be on campus to answer any questions about courses and life as a Lethbridge College student. Attendees can also take part in a scavenger hunt.

Marko Hilgersom, Registrar said in a news release, “Open House is an exciting opportunity for prospective students to check out our amazing classrooms, talk to current students and discover what Lethbridge College’s atmosphere and campus life is all about.”

Hilgersom added, “Parents can also visit the institution, have their questions answered and be fully involved in supporting students’ decisions.”

The college will serve a free lunch of chili or soup, courtesy Culinary Arts program, between 11:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. near the Food Court.

Attendees can visit the new Kodiaks esports studio for a drop-in mini tournament or to try out a Mario Kart-themed activity in Centre Core to learn about the history of the institution.

The Winter Open House at Lethbridge College is free to attend between 10:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. on February 11. Those interested in attending are asked to register beforehand and will have an opportunity to win one of three prizes, including an e-scooter.

Interested students who attend and would like to apply to the college will have the $100 application fee reduced by 50%. Additionally, a caricature artist will capture the day by drawing accepted applicants in their future career attire.
