Lethbridge Hurricanes play at the ENMAX Centre – February 10, 2023

The Lethbridge Hurricanes play on home ice this Friday, February 10. The Hurricanes will go head-to-head with the Medicine Hat Tigers starting at 7:00 p.m. at the ENMAX Centre. Tickets for the game can be found on the ENMAX Centre website.

Malik Elassal at Good Times Lethbridge Comedy Club – February 10-11

Good Times Lethbridge Comedy Club will present Alberta comedian, Malik Elassal this weekend. This Southern Albertan has performed at the Calgary Comedy Festival, was a finalist in the Grindstone Comedy Festival, and was named Calgary’s Best Comedian. Elassal will perform two shows in Lethbridge starting at 8:00 p.m. on Friday, February 10 and Saturday, February 11. For tickets, check out the Good Times Lethbridge Comedy Club website.

‘The Play That Goes Wrong’ at the Yates Memorial Centre – February 10-11

The Playgoers of Lethbridge will perform its first show of the season in its centennial year. ‘The Play That Goes Wrong’ is a comedic murder mystery that is suitable for the whole family. It has a nightly run at 7:30 p.m. at the Yates Memorial Theatre, with a single matinee performance at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 11. Tickets can be found online at the ENMAX Centre website.

Valentines Day Market: Feel The Love Local Edition – February 11

Domesticated Divas Events is hosting a free, local crafters market at Southminster United Church on Saturday, February 11. From 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. browse over 25 vendors selling handcrafted and specialty goods for that special someone ahead of Valentine’s Day.

A Dinosaur Tale at the ENMAX Centre – February 12

The family-friendly production of ‘A Dinosaur Tale’ will make its way to the ENMAX Centre for a single matinee showing this weekend starting at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, February 12. The fantasy adventure brings live-action dinosaurs to the stage in Lethbridge. Those interested in tickets can find them online at the ENMAX Centre website.

The Little Prince presented by the University of Lethbridge – February 10, 11, 16, 17, 18

This February, the Faculty of Fine Arts at the University of Lethbridge will perform The Little Prince based off the children’s novella. For five nights, this play filled with puppets, masks, and live music will bring families into the magical world of The Little Prince. The show takes place at the University Theatre and tickets are available online through the University of Lethbridge website.

Alberta Genealogical Society – Every Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday

The Lethbridge branch of the Alberta Genealogical Society is opening its resource centre to the public from 1:30 – 4:30 p.m. every Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday. Community members are encouraged to come out and learn more about their history and try to trace their family trees. Festival Square Ice Rink – Open every day from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m.

Looking to hit the ice? The Festival Square free outdoor ice rink is still open every day, weather permitting. Community members are encouraged to come out, strap on their skates and follow the rules of the rink. Helmets and protective gear are strongly recommended.

Winter Light Festival at Nikka Yuko Japanese Garden – Multiple dates in February

From now until February 26, 2023, guests can see light and ice sculpture displays while learning about Japanese culture and traditions at the Winter Light Festival at Nikka Yuko Japanese Garden. Tickets are available Friday through Sunday, with additional passes available for the Kamakura [Igloo] Dome Experience or the Basha Nori [Horse and Wagon Rides].
