Man dies in Lethbridge house fire

LETHBRIDGE, AB – Lethbridge Fire and Emergency Services says a man was found deceased as firefighters tried to extinguish a residential blaze in north Lethbridge.

At approximately 2:00 p.m. on Monday, February 13, 2023, fire crews from three stations were called to a single-family home in the 800 block of 27 Street North.

Fire officials say when crews arrived, extensive smoke was coming out of the residence. Firefighters quickly entered the home and found a small fire on the main floor.

During fire suppression efforts, officials say a man was found deceased in the home.
