Helen Schuler Nature Centre launches scavenger hunt ahead of new website unveiling

LETHBRIDGE, AB – The Helen Schuler Nature Centre in Lethbridge is ramping up public engagement ahead of the launch of its new website on February 27, 2023.

Resource Development Coordinator Curtis Goodman said, “The Nature Centre’s new website provides lots of information to help you make the most of your visit.”

Earlier this month, the centre began teasing its new online site and indicated that the launch will include a contest with over $2,500 in sustainable and nature-influenced prizes.

In anticipation of the new website, volunteers and staff are hosting a special ‘Early Bird’ event.

Goodman said, “In an effort to help residents and visitors learn more about the new website, we are hosting an in-person scavenger hunt in the Nature Reserve starting February 17. This will help share information about the contest while also offering early bird contest entries.”

The event is the first opportunity residents and visitors will have to discover how the contest works, what’s up for grabs and how they can participate.

Residents can visit the Helen Schuler Nature Centre in-person from February 17 to 26, 2023 for a variety of interactive activities, along with an extra entry into the contest.
