Public asked to avoid ENMAX Centre as police investigate assault

LETHBRIDGE, AB – Police are no longer asking the public to avoid the ENMAX Centre. The Lethbridge Police Service (LPS) thanks all those impacted for their patience and cooperation.

The investigation into an assault continues. No further details have been released.

LETHBRIDGE, AB – The Lethbridge Police Service (LPS) is directing the public to avoid the ENMAX Centre for the time being.

The police service says it is investigating an assault in the area.

The surrounding roads have been barricaded by police in an effort to control the flow of traffic.

LPS says in a media release that “There is no immediate danger to those who are currently at the ENMAX Centre.”

No further details are being released by LPS at this time.
