AG-Expo and North American Seed Fair – February 28 to March 2

This week, the Ag-Expo and North American Seed Fair will welcome over 250 agricultural exhibitors to Exhibition Park. From February 28 to March 2, patrons can explore the latest farming equipment on Machinery Row, speak with exhibitors launching new industry technology, and browse one of the oldest Seed Fairs in Western Canada. The show runs from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. daily and tickets can be purchased online at the Lethbridge and District Exhibition website or at the door.

Fans of the longest-running animated TV series in history will have a chance to show off their knowledge in this Simpson-based trivia game. On February 28, 2023, teams of up to eight players can head to the Canadian Brewhouse for a night of questions about characters, episodes, and lore. Prizes will be handed out to the winners and those who come dressed in their best Simpsons attire. Trivia starts at 7:00 p.m. and tickets can be found online at Eventbrite.

Lori Ferguson-Ford at Good Times Lethbridge Comedy Club –March 2,3, and 4

The Good Times Lethbridge Comedy Club will present Lori Furgeson-Ford for three nights this week. This British Columbian native has been in comedy for over 20 years and has toured all over Canada and the United States. She has performed at Yuk Yuk’s, The Improv, The Laugh Factory and the Comedy Store and has made appearances on The Comedy Network, among other shows. Tickets for Ladies Night are still available on March 2, along with her shows on Friday, March 3 and Saturday, March 4. For tickets, check out the Good Times Lethbridge Comedy Club website.

Professional Bull Riders (PBR) Canada Cup Series at the ENMAX Centre – March 3 and 4

The PBR Canada Cup Series will return to the ENMAX Centre for a weekend of Professional Bull Riding for a fifth consecutive season. Now in its eighth year, the cup series is set to travel across British Columbia, Alberta and Saskatchewan with its second stop on tour landing in Lethbridge. People can purchase tickets for the event online at the ENMAX Centre website.

Alberta Genealogical Society – Every Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday

The Lethbridge branch of the Alberta Genealogical Society opens its resource centre to the public from 1:30 – 4:30 p.m. every Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday. Community members are encouraged to come out and learn more about their history and try to trace their family trees. Check it out at 128 909 3 Ave. North in Lethbridge on the posted dates, and learn more on the Lethbridge & District Branch Alberta Genealogical Society website.
